Limited Edition Booker’s Rye 13 Year Old
Booker’s is a Jim Beam subsidiary that was named after former master distiller Booker Noe. His son Fred is now the master distiller and is quoted as saying, “If you’re drinking Booker’s, you better be wearing your pajamas!” Jim Beam has two distilleries in Kentucky where they make their bourbon, but Booker’s is the only brand that is made exclusively at one of them: the Boston Road plant, now known as the Booker Noe distillery.
Booker’s, along with Baker’s, Knob Creek, and Basil Hayden, was introduced in 1992 as part of the Jim Beam Small Batch collection.
Fred Noe, Jim Beam’s current Master Distiller, created this limited, one-time release. Fred is Booker’s son and the great grandson of “Jim Beam,” making him a seventh generation Beam family distiller.
In 2016, a limited edition rye whiskey called “Big Time Batch” was released.
