It’s a one-of-a-kind new single malt made from a part of the barley cultivated on the Easter Elchies estate and distilled only once a year over the course of a single week. The Macallan Estate is a celebration of the single malt’s unparalleled pedigree and tradition, created by whisky maker Sarah Burgess.
The 485-acre Easter Elchies estate is located in Scotland’s famed Speyside region, where The Macallan has been producing exceptional single malt whiskies since 1824. On the banks of the River Spey, its well cultivated barley fields are viewed by The Macallan’s new award-winning distillery. The Macallan Estate is packaged in a beautiful gift set that includes a hand-cut slate panel that depicts our home’s Scottish countryside. The estate’s spectacular barley fields on the banks of the picturesque River Spey are captured in aerial photography on the inside.
The Macallan Estate has a faint citrus note that complements the customary sherried richness, giving in a complex single malt with a lingering finish. Estate honors the birthplace of every bottle of The Macallan by providing a rare opportunity to sample rare spirit distilled from our treasured estate-grown barley.
